We have been providing experienced digital imaging and printing services for over 21 years to artists of all styles and mediums. We have found so many variables in what clients bring us that a discussion about available materials, sizes, paper types and other imaging options is ALWAYS a benefit. Now available: Tri-TONE Grey PIGMENTED PRINTS
Featuring tri-tone grey printing and gloss enhancer top coating for perfect black & white and full color prints up to 44" wide on fine art papers, canvas and photo surfaces. The gloss enhancer makes it possible to print outstanding gloss and satin prints with no bronzing or gloss differential to detract from the print. The Vivera inks are rated by Wilhelm Research at 200 years for both colour and black & white prints.

Digital Photographers
Please provide files embedded with Adobe 98 profile or the Photoshop default srgb colorspace.
Setting up files for output
Formats: JPG,Tiff, PSD on CD, DVD, USB drive or Dropbox and other transfer services
Colorspace:SRGB or Adobe 1998
Resolution: up to 360, 300, 200,180 or 150dpi @ 100% of print size. View at 100% on your monitor to evaluate detail and quality, this will assist in making a decision about how large you can print. Use a monitor that has been calibrated for best results.
Use profile to profile conversions in Photoshop to get from a special user colorspace to Adobe 1998 using Adobe ACE color engine, Relative Colorimetric for intent and check black point compensation - this will provide very good results. Remember to change your working space to Adobe 98 to reflect the correct colorspace also. This will allow you to review more accurately the file for adjustments before proofing. (This is a good starting point for client tests for output)

Setting up files for output
Formats: Tiff, PSD, JPG
Colorspace: Adobe 1998 Resolution: 360, 300, 180 or 150ppi @ 100% of print dimension is best.

Image Editing
Images needing repairs such as older artworks or photographs, alterations such as removing signatures or unwanted elements and creative concepts are welcome. Resizing, cropping and other services available. Please call to discuss your projects.
Digital Image cleaning, repairing & restoration billed at $50 per hour / half hour minimum.

Turnaround
Allow 5 to 10 working days for proofs and 10 to 14 days for final prints. ( Larger orders may require additional time relative to scheduling.) Please communicate all deadlines to insure we work together to meet your needs.
Payment
Payment of 50% is required in advance to start projects. All outside costs will require advance payment as required to secure services on behalf of client. Final balance is due at time of pick up or shipping.
We now take credit card payments through PAYPAL - add 4%.
Shipping
Shipping is provided through carries of choice unless otherwise requested by client. All shipping costs are added to final invoice plus handleing or can be billed to client's shipping account.
Policies
All reasonable care is taken to protect original artworks, transparencies and customer supplied media. However, Rock's Studio and its representatives are only liable for replacement costs of raw materials in case of damage or loss. Always back up your files and provide your own insurance!
Rock's studio will try to notify clients when changes reflecting inks and printer will be happening and will allow 30 days notice before using new inks, papers and device setting to allow for reprinting of archived files. We will not be responsible for guaranteeing print editions an extended period due to the constantly changing dynamics of the technology and consumables of the digital printing industry. We will not guarantee the availability of system or of material continuity. Reproofing for new inks and machine settings may require additional proofing to match previous prints and will be the responsibility of clients to assume if a match is to be retained.
Rock's Studio reserves the right to refuse services at its own discretion without limits.
